Hi, I'm Jennifer!

Welcome to my website, everyone!

I am a DevOps Engineer focusing on Big Data. I'm a blogger & speaker focusing on a number of things. First, on my black experience in the tech industry, inclusion, having dyslexia, dyspraxia & ADHD, the value in learning how to code as well as just being new to tech and navigating the space.

I'm also the creator of "The Opal Newsletter", a monthly newsletter that provides free to low cost coding resources to those that are on their coding journeys.

Since entering tech in March 2019, I advocate for the importance of black representation and a desire to see tech companies that look just like modern society and not predominantly white.
